Job summary

Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour is seeking an energetic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to lead our fast-paced F&B operation under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager. A hands-on leader with bars, beverages, cocktails and team leadership experience will thrive in this dynamic Sydney hotel environment.

You will coach team members, manage day-to-day bar, restaurant and events, drive beverage sales, and ensure RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety.

Qualifications

• RSA certification and Food Safety qualifications required.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach and develop staff.
• Strong beverage knowledge including wine, spirits, cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of F&B attendants and bartenders.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of bar, restaurant and conferencing spaces.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve issues professionally.
• Assist with rostering, recruitment, training and performance management.
• Manage beverage costs and inventory controls.
• Ensure RSA, food safety and health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Front Office and Kitchen teams.
