Job summary

Eden Academy Wollongbar is opening a brand-new centre and seeks Assistant Educators to nurture and support 2–4-year-old children in a warm, home-like environment. The role runs from 6:30am to 6:30pm, with opportunities to grow within our expanding family of centres.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent) or Certificate III (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Food Handling Certificate and valid Working with Children Check.
• Proficiency in EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Australian Working Rights are required.
• Great personal presentation and professional demeanor.
• Two professional references, including at least one from a childcare or education supervisor.

Imagine walking into work every day to a "home away from home." Our brand-new centre is a masterpiece of natural light, open-plan discovery zones, and lush outdoor play environments. Operating from 6.30am-6.30pm, we provide the ultimate canvas for 100 children to explore, grow, and thrive.

We’re looking for passionate Assistant Educators to join our brand-new centre and inspire, nurture and support our 2–4-year-old children as they learn, grow and thrive.

About you:

You’re a compassionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow. Through meaningful interactions and engaging conversations, you inspire inquisitive minds and help lay the foundation for each child’s unique learning journey with us

You will possess:

• A Diploma inEarly Childhood Education (or an ACECQA approved equivalent) or
• A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)or
• A Food Handling Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
• Proficiency in EYLF and National Quality Standards
• Australian Working Rights
• Great personal presentation
• Confidence and curiosity to build relationships with our families and the local community
• Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
