Play and Learn Early Learning Centre – Loganholme QLD
Certificate III | Above Award Wage
At Play and Learn, we believe childhood should feel meaningful, connected, calm and full of wonder.
We are looking for a part-time Certificate III Assistant Educator to join our team at Play and Learn Bismark Street.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being with children, values relationships and wellbeing, and wants to be part of a team that is continually reflecting on what children deserve from early childhood education and care.
For over 20 years, Play and Learn has been family owned and operated, with strong connections to our local community and a team we are incredibly proud of.
Our practice is grounded in wellbeing, relationships, slow pedagogy, outdoor learning, children's rights and meaningful childhoods. We value children's autonomy and their right to move between indoor and outdoor environments at their own pace.
We also believe educators bring far more to a service than their qualification. We encourage our team to bring their own interests, passions, knowledge and skills into the centre. Whether that is art, sustainability, music, movement, gardening, culture, wellbeing, outdoor education or something completely different, we want our educators to have opportunities to share what matters to them.
Most importantly, we want educators who care about where the early childhood sector is heading. We are continually learning, reflecting and striving for positive change, and we want people on our team who want to be part of that change too.
We understand how difficult it can be to plan your life when your roster changes from week to week. At Play and Learn, our educators work a set roster with the same combination of shifts over an extended period of time.
While your roster will include different shift times, you will know what you are working from week to week, giving you greater consistency and the ability to plan your life outside of work.
