Job summary

G8 Education in New South Wales is seeking an Assistant Educator to join a supportive team at Community Kids Empire Bay, delivering a safe, engaging learning environment for children aged 0-5.

You'll be supported to excel with an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma, EYLF/NQS understanding, strong communication, and a Working with Children Check. Part-time, 24 hours/week, with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• ACE CQA approved qualification in early childhood (Certificate III or Diploma).
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience as Educator in early childhood (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

• Assist in delivering a safe, engaging learning environment for children 0–5.
• Support daily routines, curriculum activities and reflective practice.

This role is Part-Time working 24 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 75 children with operating hours from 7am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or DiplomaQualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
