Job summary

Community Kids Caboolture is seeking an experienced Assistant Educator to join our qualified Early Childhood team. You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services and be committed to creating a safe, stimulating learning environment for children aged 0–5.

This part-time role is 30 hours per week, with generous benefits and opportunities to grow within our supportive network. A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate are required to start.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS is desirable.
• Experience in an Early childhood service (0–5 years) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an outstanding learning environment for children.
• Support and engage with children aged 0–5 years.
• Contribute to safe and nurturing classroom routines.

This role is Part-Time working 30 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 119 children with operating hours from 6:00am to 6:30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
