Job summary

G8 Education Ltd is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Educator at Steel Street Children’s Centre in Chum Creek. This role includes providing educational support and ensuring the safety of children aged 0-5 years.

Candidates must hold an ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services and have a strong understanding of early childhood education frameworks. The position offers multiple benefits including a 10% wage increase and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Full‑time, 38 hours per week, Steel Street Children’s Centre.

About Us

Our centre offers indoor and outdoor play areas, age‑appropriate technology and a range of activities. It can accommodate up to 90 children and operates from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must hold an ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children’s Services.
• Must understand the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Must have proven early‑childhood educator experience with children 0‑5 years.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must hold a current Working with Children Check.
• Must possess a current First Aid certificate.
