Job summary

G8 Education Sunbury is seeking an Assistant Educator to join our friendly Early Childhood team. You will be a passionate professional dedicated to creating an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0-5 years, supported by a network of 400+ centres.

Holding an ACECQA approved Diploma and with EYLF/NQS understanding, you will contribute to daily activities and learning experiences while maintaining safety, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Diploma in Children’s Services is required.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience with children aged 0-5 years.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support lead educators in delivering learning activities and routines.
• Assist with daily care, supervision and safety of children.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and engaging learning spaces.
• Collaborate with the team to support children’s development and wellbeing.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 104 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
