Job summary

The Parks and Conservation Service (PCS) in the ACT Government invites applications for an Assistant Director Operations Coordination to lead a broad, distributed workforce and align operational planning with PCS and government goals.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you will guide a team delivering consolidated planning, dashboards, data solutions, and an in-house Asset Management System while supporting staff across field and office environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current driver's licence.
• Willingness to wear a uniform.
• Highly desirable: tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in natural resource management.
• Experience in governance, planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations Coordination team delivering consolidated planning and reporting.
• Develop and manage spatial/mapping products and PCS systems support.
• Develop in-house Asset Management System and data solutions.
• Oversee PCS intranet, dashboards, open data transfers, and financial reporting.
