Goodstart Early Learning Tweed Heads South NSW is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the centre and mentor staff, ensuring high-quality early learning and care. You will work closely with the Centre Director to drive improvements and support families and the local community.

This Full Time / Fixed Term role (until April 2027) offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills in a not-for-profit environment with a competitive pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading early learning teams.
• Ability to mentor and develop centre staff.
• Experience managing a childcare centre and implementing quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in guiding the team to deliver high-quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for the centre's operations in the Centre Director's absence.
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.
