Job summary

Canberra Grammar School seeks an accomplished educator to expand opportunity, challenge and growth across the Senior School. As Assistant Director of Educational Opportunities you will coordinate enrichment and scholarship programmes and lead the Senior Study Programme, connecting academic challenge with student wellbeing.

You will collaborate with Directors and Heads of Faculty to identify and support capable students, ensuring access to enrichment for all backgrounds and driving inclusive

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead or coordinate enrichment or gifted education programmes in a secondary school.
• Strong written English and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid certifications if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Shape opportunities for high potential students across the Senior School.
• Lead enrichment, scholarships, extended learning and academic wellbeing initiatives.
• Coordinate high-quality programmes identifying and supporting capable students from diverse backgrounds.
• Lead the Senior Study Programme and study skills provision within a defined leadership portfolio.
