Job summary

Canberra Grammar School seeks an accomplished educator to expand opportunity, challenge and academic growth across the Senior School. The Assistant Director leads the Senior Study Programme and coordinates enrichment, scholarships and study skills provision, working with senior leaders to identify and support capable students from diverse backgrounds.

In a defined 0.5 FTE leadership portfolio, you will build intellectual ambition, strengthen systems for participation tracking, and ensure access

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree and recognised teaching qualification.
• ACT teacher registration or ability to obtain one.
• Experience leading or coordinating enrichment, extension or gifted education in a secondary school.
• Ability to coordinate scholarship, Senior Study and study skills provision with disciplined planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Senior Study Programme and study skills provision.
• Coordinate enrichment and scholarship programmes.
• Identify and track high-potential students from diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with Directors and Heads of Faculty to implement vision.
