Job summary

Goodstart Dundowran is seeking an Assistant Director to lead and support a dedicated centre team in delivering high-quality early learning and care.

You will work alongside the Centre Director to drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and foster strong relationships with families and the local community. This is a not-for-profit, child-focused organisation with competitive pay and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership in an early learning setting or centre management.
• Ability to mentor and develop centre teams.
• Experience supporting the Centre Director and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to deliver high-quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for the centre's overall management in the Centre Director's absence.
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

you'llleverageyourexpertiseand leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible forthe overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
