Job summary

Goodstart Meadow Springs is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to lead a 75-place centre in Meadow Springs, WA. This full‑time role involves supporting the Centre Director, mentoring staff, and ensuring high‑quality early learning and care across operations.

You will implement the Goodstart Practice Guide, drive continuous improvement, and foster strong relationships with families and the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership roles within early learning or childcare.
• Diploma in Children\'s Services or equivalent required.
• Experience as Assistant Director or centre leadership is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to deliver high‑quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for centre management in the Centre Director\'s absence.
• Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

Pay: $42.38 - $68.53 per hour (qualification and experience pending) + Superannuation + Benefits

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Riverside Gardens, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
