Cynergy Solutions is partnering with a Sydney-based property development business to recruit an Assistant Development Manager / Junior Development Manager. You will report to the Director and support the delivery of multiple residential and commercial projects across the development lifecycle.

This role offers autonomy, exposure to commercial decisions, and a clear path to growth. A flexible arrangement includes some work-from-home on Fridays; full-time or part-time options (3-4 days) are

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in property development or project management.
• Exposure to residential or commercial development lifecycle and budgets.
• Strong commercial awareness including feasibility, cost management and reporting.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Support management of residential and commercial development projects from planning through to delivery.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, procurement, and milestones across projects.
• Assist with financial feasibility, cost analysis and commercial reporting.
• Review development documentation, drawings, submissions and progress reports.
• Support tendering, procurement, contract administration and contractor coordination.
• Attend project meetings and track deliverables; follow up on actions.
• Identify risks, variations and delays; provide recommendations to the Director.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation using project management software.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

With a strong pipeline of developments underway, they are seeking a commercially minded Assistant Development Manager / Junior Development Manager to work directly alongside the Director and support the delivery of multiple projects.

Your Role

Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating development activities across multiple projects, from initial feasibility through to construction and completion.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the management of residential and commercial development projects from planning and feasibility through to delivery.
• Monitoring project budgets, timelines, procurement activities and key development milestones.
• Assisting with financial feasibility assessments, cost analysis, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Reviewing development documentation, construction drawings, consultant submissions and project progress reports.
• Supporting tendering, procurement, contract administration and contractor coordination.
• Attending project meetings, tracking deliverables and following up on outstanding actions.
• Identifying project risks, cost variations and potential delays, providing practical recommendations to the Director.
• Maintaining accurate project records, reporting and documentation using relevant project management software.
• Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders when required.

You Will Have

• Approximately 4+ years of experience in property development, project management or a related construction discipline.
• A background in Tier 2 or Tier 3 construction or development environments will be highly regarded.
• Experience across residential or commercial projects, with a strong understanding of the property development lifecycle.
• Strong commercial awareness, including exposure to project budgets, feasibility assessments and cost management.
• Proficiency in Procore and Revit, with experience using Xero considered advantageous.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of project deliverables.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• A current NSW driver's licence.
