Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking an Assistant Coordinator in Sydney on a permanent, part-time basis (27.5 hours/week). The role involves supporting leaders, roster management, and program development across school communities, with paid training and clear progression paths to coordinator or service manager roles.

You will work with a supportive regional team and gain hands-on leadership experience while upholding child safety and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
• State working-with-children check required.
• Australian working rights.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and mentoring a team of Educators onsite.
• Manage rosters, service operations, compliance and administration.
• Develop child-led programs (STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft).
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and community.
• Position offers pathways to future management opportunities.
