PlayPatch Early Learning, located in Rothwell, Brisbane's northern suburbs, is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager to lead with the Centre Manager and influence a thriving team culture. You will mentor educators, support family connections, and help ensure smooth daily operation.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in early childhood education, strong communication, and a passion for developing others within a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership role within ECEC (e.g., Room Leader, Educational Leader, or Assistant Director).
• Solid knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Regulations and NQS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Centre Manager to ensure smooth, vibrant daily operation.
• Lead, coach, and support educators to achieve high-quality practice.
• Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and National Regulations.
• Foster warm, positive relationships with children, families and visitors.
• Help manage rostering and service workflows.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of educators.
• Promote a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner in Leadership: Work hand-in-hand with the Centre Manager to ensure the smooth, vibrant daily operation of the service.
• Mentor & Inspire: Lead, coach, and support educators on the floor to achieve exceptional, high-quality practice.
• Uphold Excellence: Assist in maintaining absolute compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Regulations.
• Connect with Community: Foster warm, positive, and meaningful relationships with PlayPatch children, families, and visitors.
• Operational Support: Help manage key administration tasks, including efficient rostering and service workflows.
• Grow the Team: Assist with recruitment, welcoming onboarding, and ongoing educator development.
• Champion Culture: Actively promote a positive, collaborative, and uplifting workplace culture where everyone feels valued.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and drive excellent learning outcomes.
