Job summary

Tall Tree Early Learning Manning is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager to build the foundations for a future Centre Manager role. This full‑time role focuses on leadership, processes, and compliance in a hands‑on setting with children and families.

You will work closely with the Centre Manager, mentor educators, manage rostering and documentation, and step in during absences. The role offers a clear pathway to centre leadership and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher with current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection training and WWCC.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and compliance.
• Process-oriented with rostering, compliance and administration experience.
• Leadership potential with a clear ambition to progress to centre leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager in the day-to-day operations.
• Lead and mentor educators to ensure exceptional care and educational practices.
• Build a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Ensure documentation and programming meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Champion child safety by modelling and upholding policies and reporting obligations.
• Build strong relationships with families, children, and the wider community.
• Manage rostering, compliance records, tours and parent communication with consistency.
• Manage the service in the Centre Manager's absence with confidence.
