Job summary

Bluebird Koo Wee Rup is seeking an experienced Assistant Centre Manager (2IC) to oversee daily operations and guide a passionate team of Educators. You will ensure adherence to the service philosophy, policies, and the National Quality Standards while delivering exceptional education and care for children and families.

You will lead curriculum planning, mentor staff, manage budgets, and foster strong family communications in a vibrant, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid including CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain.
• Current Child Protection, Safe Sleep, and Food Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to make business decisions and manage budgets.
• Team player with strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day centre operations and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of Educators to align with the service philosophy and NQS.
• Ensure staff comply with policies and procedures while delivering high-quality care.
• Foster strong relationships with families and build a supportive learning environment.
