Job summary

The Learning Sanctuary Freshwater, part of G8 Education Limited, is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager to lead a 74-place service and uphold an exceptional learning environment for children aged 0–5 years. The role is part-time (30 hours/week) on a six-month contract, with hours spanning 07:30–18:00.

Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA approved Diploma or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), have EYLF/NQS knowledge, and demonstrate strong communication, WWCC, and First Aid skills.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Diploma in Children’s Services or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Our Centre is well equipped with resources and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum, including a specialised Kindergarten program.

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. At capacity our centre caters for 74children with operating hours between 07:30 - 18:00

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approvedDiploma in Children’s Services or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
