Job summary

Busy Bees Colac is seeking an experienced Assistant Centre Director to support the leadership, mentor educators and uphold regulatory compliance in our 91-place early learning service in Colac.

This full-time, permanent role focuses on delivering high-quality education and care, safeguarding child safety, and continuous improvement. You will build strong community relationships and may step into Centre Director duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher.
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check.
• Commitment to child safety and Busy Bees values.
• Solid understanding of EYLF, NQS, Child Protection and ECEC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director with day-to-day leadership and operations.
• Lead, mentor and support educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Help maintain compliance with the NQF and National Regulations.
• Support curriculum planning, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Step into the Centre Director role when required.
