Job summary

Busy Bees at Belmont is seeking an experienced Assistant Centre Director to support the Centre Director, mentor educators and ensure smooth daily operations in a hands‑on leadership role.

You will lead and inspire staff, build family and community partnerships, and contribute to curriculum planning while ensuring compliance with NQF and regulations. The role includes potential non-contact centre cover and a pathway to Centre Director.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Child Protection legislation.
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within ECEC.
• Willingness to step into Centre Director role when required.

We're looking for an experienced and supportive Assistant Centre Director to join our stable team at Busy Bees at Belmont. This hands-on leadership role will see you support the Centre Director with daily operations, mentor educators and provide non-contact support and cover across the centre wherever needed.
