Job summary

Guardian Mt Barker is seeking an Assistant Centre Director to support the Centre Leadership Team in creating a safe, brave and imaginative learning environment for children. You will build strong relationships with families and staff, guiding practice to meet high standards of care and education.

You will help drive a culture of quality and safety, supporting Guardian as the centre of choice in the community while contributing to business performance that reinvests profits into high-quality

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or Bachelor of Education (or working towards)
• Experience in a long day-care centre in a senior or leadership role
• Solid knowledge of the NQF and EYLF and their practical implementation
• Budget management and financial accountability experience
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and Working with Children check

• Build lasting relationships with families so they feel informed about their children’s education and care.

The Centre

To be considered, you will have:

• A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards)
• Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a senior or leadership role.
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
• Budget and financial accountability experience
• Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and current Working with Children check.
