Job summary

Dovida is seeking an Assistant Care Manager (Trainee) to support high-quality, relationship-based care for Private clients. You will work under Care Managers, building capability in client coordination, care planning and documentation, while progressing toward a Certificate IV in Ageing Support.

Based in Lane Cove West, this developmental role offers on-the-job training, flexible arrangements and a pathway into a Care Manager role as competency is demonstrated.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to support clients and families.
• Ability to document accurately and manage client records.
• Willingness to learn and progress toward a Care Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with clients and families through regular communication.
• Assist with coordinating care services for Private clients, including onboarding and visits.
• Support client reviews, goal discussions and simple care plan updates as capability develops.
• Maintain accurate client records and support audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Care Managers and office team while participating in training and coaching.
