Job summary

CHANEL in Canberra is seeking an experienced Assistant Boutique Manager to lead our Fragrance & Beauty boutique team. You will support the Boutique Manager and drive an exceptional client experience in a luxury environment. The role requires at least two years in a retail management position, preferably in luxury beauty.

Experience coaching, CRM, and team development will be highly regarded. You'll contribute to delivering a prestigious brand experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the performance of the team and guide towards achieving results.
• Empower the team and provide constant feedback on Beauty Advisors.
• Partner with Learning to coach on client experience, sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Be committed to CRM KPIs and recruit, retain and grow client loyalty.
• Ensure customer data is recorded and maintained per policy.
• Manage staff schedules for floor coverage and client service.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Boutique Manager to join our Fragrance and Beauty Boutique in our beautiful Canberra Location.

YOUR PURPOSE

In line with the Fragrance & Beauty vision and mission, the Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in leading an energetic and passionate team of people who are dedicated to creating experiences with our clients. Through a keen sense of business acumen, the Assistant Boutique Manager will support all retail activities that contribute to the brand’s image and leadership in the market.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Supervise the performance of the team and guide towards achieving results and developing individual talents.
• Empower the team, give support and provide constant feedback on individual Beauty Advisors
• Partner with the Learning team, provide coaching and mentoring in client experience, sales techniques, service flows, product knowledge & expertise.
• Be committed to CRM KPIs and acts pro-actively to recruit, retain and grow client loyalty.
• Ensure all customer details and data are recorded and maintained properly under the destined company database via the company device. CRM data on each customer is kept up to date, in accordance to the policy on Collection and Protection of Company Data.
• Manage staff schedules, including day-to-day operational zoning to ensure floor coverage and optimal client service.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Strong retail operational skills with at least two years’ experience in a management role, preferably within a similar luxury environment.
• Relationships focus with a Collaborative mindset and strong partnering and influencing skills.
• Experience and qualifications in a beauty discipline such as makeup or beauty is highly regarded.
• Coaching ability to develop and empower people: Listening and empathy, feedback and motivation, performance management, delegation.
• A focus on the delivery of a luxurious client experience and the ability to develop a strong loyal client network.
• A high degree of professionalism and maturity in all areas of business
