Job summary

Chanel in Melbourne's Myer counter is seeking an experienced Assistant Business Manager to lead a busy Fragrance and Beauty team, delivering a luxurious client experience and upholding Chanel's brand standards.

You will supervise staff, coach Beauty Advisors, manage schedules, and partner with Learning to drive sales, CRM, and client loyalty while safeguarding customer data.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a management role within luxury retail.
• Strong collaborative mindset with excellent partnering and influencing skills.
• Coaching ability to develop and empower people with listening, empathy, feedback and motivation.
• Dedicated to delivering a luxurious client experience and building a loyal client network.
• High professionalism and maturity in all areas of business.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Business Manager to join our Fragrance and Beauty Counter in MYER Melbourne.

YOUR PURPOSE

In line with the Fragrance & Beauty vision and mission, the Assistant Business Manager supports the Business Manager in leading an energetic and passionate team of people who are dedicated to creating experiences with our clients. Through a keen sense of business acumen, the Assistant Business Manager is responsible for all retail activities that contribute to the brand’s image and leadership in the market.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Supervise the performance of the team and guide towards achieving results and developing individual talents.

Empower the team, give support and provide constant feedback on individual Beauty Advisors

Partner with the Learning team, provide coaching and mentoring in client experience, sales techniques, service flows, product knowledge & expertise.

Be committed to CRM KPIs and acts pro-actively to recruit, retain and grow client loyalty.

Ensure all customer details and data are recorded and maintained properly under the destined company database via the company device. CRM data on each customer is kept up to date, in accordance to the policy on Collection and Protection of Company Data.

Manage staff schedules, including day-to-day operational zoning to ensure floor coverage and optimal client service.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Strong retail operational skills with at least two years’ experience in a management role, preferably within a similar luxury environment.

Relationships focus with a Collaborative mindset and strong partnering and influencing skills.

Coaching ability to develop and empower people: Listening and empathy, feedback and motivation, performance management, delegation.

A focus on the delivery of a luxurious client experience and the ability to develop a strong loyal client network.

A high degree of professionalism and maturity in all areas of business
