Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to lead our Food & Beverage venue with guest-centric service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will manage the venue, develop your team, and ensure consistent service excellence while coordinating stock and client relations. RSA certification and prior leadership experience are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• An up-to-date RSA is required.
• Relevant experience in a managerial role is essential.
• Working rights in Australia are required.
• Self-motivated and energized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist with managing a venue in the food and beverage department, tending to the guests and exceeding their expectations
• Responsible for managing a food and beverage venue, ensuring the team is providing service excellence through each customer experience
• Be a confident and welcoming leader, creating a community that empowers your team to grow and reach their potential
• Plan and execute team building activities for your team as together we are better
• Ensure the venue is consistently prepared and always stocked through ordering and adequate planning
• Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Food and Beverage department
• Ensure you and your team uphold all company policies and procedures
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service, enabling future bookings
