Job summary

Wishbone is opening in Melbourne's CBD and seeks an Assistant Bar Manager to lead bar service from day one. You will oversee premium beverage operations, maintain stock and ordering, and ensure exceptional guest experiences during busy service periods.

The ideal candidate will have premium-venue experience, strong cocktail knowledge, RSA certification, and the ability to build relationships with guests and crew. Weekend availability and reliable leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Selected candidate has experience as an Assistant Bar Manager in premium venues.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer and spirits is required.
• Experience with ordering and stocktake processes.
• Excellent service skills with guest-focused approach.
• Comfortable working under high-pressured service periods.
• Proven ability to build relationships with staff and guests.
• Organisational and time management skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Must be available weekends and public holidays, opening/closing shifts.
• Must possess a valid RSA certificate.
