Job summary

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking an Assistant Auditor to join the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President, Chancellery Division. The role supports a comprehensive internal audit function and reports to the Director, Assurance and Audit, with hybrid work arrangements at Kelvin Grove.

The successful candidate will have a degree or associate diploma and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office, databases and analytic tools.

Qualifications

• Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a degree; or completion of an associate diploma with subsequent relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with digital technologies relevant to the position including MS Office Suite, databases and analytic applications.
• Demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with a diverse range of people at all levels in a professional manner while maintaining a high level of client service.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively to support a team in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative, judgement and analytical skills to solve problems and manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
