11 Recruitment's Western Australian client is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support month-end, year-end processes, reconciliations and reporting across multiple finance areas in a seasonal entertainment business.
You will assist with payroll reconciliations, AP and revenue assurance while maintaining spreadsheets and contributing to business performance analysis. Intermediate Excel and Power BI experience are desirable, with CPA/CA progression supported.
Our client is a Western Australian leisure and entertainment business operating within a seasonal environment and supporting both a permanent and seasonal workforce. The operation incorporates entertainment, hospitality, retail, food and beverage, engineering and maintenance, inventory management, capital planning, project management and workforce management.
You’ll work across different areas of finance depending on business requirements.
We’re looking for someone who wants to continue developing their accounting career and gain experience across a range of finance responsibilities.
You may currently be an Assistant Accountant or working in another finance position where greater responsibility for month-end, reporting, reconciliations and analysis would be a natural progression.
Excel is also an important part of the position. You’ll need intermediate competency, including formulas and pivot tables, and the ability to create, maintain and check spreadsheets accurately.
Experience within a consumer-facing or multi-site organisation would also be useful. Power BI reporting experience is desirable.
You’ll gain exposure to the financial requirements of multiple business disciplines within one organisation, including entertainment, hospitality, retail, food and beverage, workforce management, inventory, maintenance, projects and capital planning.
For candidates undertaking CPA, CA or equivalent professional studies, the business is open to discussing support towards your studies, including potential financial assistance or time away from work, subject to an agreed arrangement.
Training will also be provided where required, including further development in payroll.
This is a permanent role, and applicants must have working rights that align with long-term employment requirements in Australia.
Sponsorship will not be provided.
