Perigon Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant in Sydney CBD on a 15-month maternity cover with hybrid working. The role supports the Finance Manager to drive efficiency and streamline operations across month-end, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.

Your responsibilities include general ledgers, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and ad hoc duties, reporting to the Finance Manager. 2+ years in a similar role and SAP experience are preferred.

Well established global infrastructure business has just gone through ERP system implementation and transformation. They are looking for a talented Assistant Accountant to cover someone's maternity leave for 15 months.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how the finance function supports the wider business, helping to drive efficiency, streamline operations, and contribute to achieving and exceeding the ambitious goals. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Month end
• Reconciliations
• Assisting with financial statement preparation
• General ledgers
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Adhoc duties as required
