Job summary

ATFX is seeking an Assistant Accountant to own accounts payable and daily financial operations across multiple entities in a Sydney-based office. You will perform bank reconciliations, post journals, manage AP end-to-end and support month-end close, intercompany and audit processes, working closely with the Finance Manager and Operations.

This role suits an organised professional with solid accounting fundamentals who wants broader exposure and room to grow in a multi-entity financial services

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Solid grounding in fundamental accounting concepts.
• Experience with month-end close and intercompany transactions.
• Proficient in Excel, Pivot Tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank, merchant, and other accounts daily.
• Prepare and post daily client and counterparty journals.
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable including invoicing and payments.
• Prepare monthly close journals and depreciation/amortisation.
• Coordinate year-end audit supporting documents.
