Job summary

Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to support a not-for-profit disability services organisation in Sydney. This 6-month maternity leave cover focuses on accurate reporting, compliance and efficient finance operations.

You will assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations and cash flow, manage corporate cards and payroll files, and help with BAS/FBT and audit tasks. The role suits detail‑oriented accountants aiming to contribute to community outcomes.

Qualifications

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, Finance, you'll support accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance and finance operations across the Group.

• Supporting month-end reporting, reconciliations and cash flow reporting.

About you

You're an organised and detail-focused accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems and ensuring things are done accurately and on time.
