Job summary

Moorabool Shire Council is seeking an Asset Systems Officer to manage Council's infrastructure asset and maintenance systems. You will improve data quality, support reporting, and coordinate inspections to enable informed decision-making for a growing municipality.

The role focuses on data integrity, system usability, and cross-system integration, working with internal teams and contractors to optimise asset management outcomes.

The Role

As the Asset Systems Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the effective management of Council's infrastructure assets through the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of Council's asset and maintenance management systems. Reporting to the Coordinator Asset Management, you will ensure the quality, integrity and usability of asset data, coordinate infrastructure inspection programs, develop reporting and analysis tools, and support the integration of asset information across multiple systems. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and service providers, you will contribute to informed decision-making, improved service delivery and the sustainable management of assets across our growing municipality.
