Job summary

Gough Recruitment is recruiting for an Asset Manager in Sydney to drive property performance and leasing strategies across a high-value portfolio. You will work with the Portfolio Manager to optimize returns and manage budgets, with exposure to acquisitions and ESG initiatives.

The role requires a property-related degree and at least 3 years in real estate, plus strong financial acumen and stakeholder skills. Excellent team environment and rewards accompany the opportunity.

Qualifications

• University degree in Property or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within the real estate sector.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
• Knowledge of the Australian real estate market.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute property and leasing strategies to enhance asset performance.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, valuations, and capital works planning.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage service providers (e.g leasing agents, PMs).
• Support acquisitions, disposals, and due diligence (cash flow modelling etc).
• Ensure ESG and NABERS compliance, driving sustainability upgrades.
• Foster tenant relationships and identify value-add initiatives.
• Collaborate with global teams across fund, asset, and investment functions.
