Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore is seeking an Asset Management Systems Specialist to optimise asset/work management data, processes and standards. You will act as SME for asset systems, guiding users and driving improvements across maintenance, engineering and technology teams.

The role focuses on governance, data quality and system enhancements that support reliable asset performance and informed decision making. Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Asset Management or Maintenance Management systems, preferably SAP PM.
• Knowledge of Asset Management and Work Management principles and governance.
• Experience identifying and implementing process or system improvements that enhance business performance.
• Experience interpreting operational data and translating insights into reporting and recommendations.
• Exposure to reporting/analytics platforms such as Power BI, Databricks, Azure or similar technologies.
• Collaborative work across operational, maintenance, engineering and technology stakeholders.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Maintenance, IT, Business or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for asset management systems and provide guidance to users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
• Maintain and enhance asset/work management standards, procedures and governance.
• Ensure tools, reporting and routines measure asset management performance.
• Steward asset management master data for accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with Technology and vendors for upgrades, integrations, maintenance.
• Coach stakeholders to improve system adoption and best-practice usage.
