Job summary

Hornsby Shire Council seeks a data-centric professional to consolidate data from multiple sources into a single TechOne Asset database and establish ongoing capture processes. You will collaborate with Finance, GIS and Business Improvement to ensure integration across systems and develop dashboards to support infrastructure planning.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and analysing large datasets and developing dashboards using tools such as Power BI or similar.
• Working knowledge of asset management systems (eg TechOne, Assetfuture, GIS) and data integration techniques.
• High level of proficiency with Excel and database querying tools.

Job description

This is an exciting role responsible for the consolidation and update of data from a range of sources, and development of systems and processes for ongoing datacapture, management and reporting.

Position Type

Permanent full time

Salary

$97,076 - $108,637 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation, and a 9 day fortnight. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications andexperience.

About the role

You will be responsible for consolidating data from a range of different sources into a Single TechOne Asset database. You will work with Finance, GIS and Business Improvement teams to ensure integration across TechOne, GIS and other systems. You will develop Dashboards and Data Analytics tools to enable Infrastructure Planning to optimise asset renewal, maintenance and service delivery.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and provide user training in use of asset management tools.
