Job summary

Downer is seeking a Supervisor – Services and Asset Management at Auburn Maintenance Centre in Australia. You will lead a small technical team, coordinate a network of specialist contractors, and influence asset reliability and operational continuity for trains moving through maintenance.

Qualifications

Electrical qualification or engineering degree is required.
Demonstrated capability leading technical teams in a safety-critical or complex industrial environment.
Strong asset management mindset and understanding of asset hierarchies and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

Lead the facilities maintenance team and specialist contractors, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery.
Use asset data to identify recurring failures, determine root causes and implement improvements.
Plan maintenance and projects around live operations, minimizing disruption while ensuring governance and closure.
Build relationships with operations, suppliers, OEMs and internal teams to align and deliver sustainable outcomes.
Scope and deliver asset improvement projects with approvals, budgets and stakeholder communications from concept to completion.
