Job summary

The Asset Management Officer at City of Gold Coast supports the effective management of infrastructure assets by maintaining reliable data, improving planning, compliance, reporting, cost forecasting and system performance.

Core duties include ERP/SAP guidance, translating asset plans into actionable requirements, and ERP improvements with field mobility. Strong stakeholder engagement and safety commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level qualification in asset or maintenance management or engineering or equivalent experience.
• C Class Driver’s Licence (Unrestricted) required.
• Knowledge of asset management and ERP systems; SAP experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent time management and analytical thinking with customer focus.
• Commitment to safety.
• Strong communication, consultation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain constructive internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Utilise City SAP/ERP to provide best practice guidance and support.
• Translate asset management plans into traceable, executable requirements.
• Improve ERP integration with field mobility and supporting systems.
• Provide operational support across the Enterprise Asset Management team and assist with business continuity.
