Job summary

Boral Asphalt is seeking a maintenance lead to own the safety, reliability and performance of our asphalt plants, mobile plant and fleet in Queensland. You will lead planners, fitters and plant supervisors to keep assets Safe, Compliant, Reliable and Optimised.

Regular regional travel is expected as you manage maintenance programs, budgets and drive improvements across the network, ensuring uptime and quality for our road surfacing projects.

Qualifications

• Trade or engineering qualification is required.
• Experience managing mobile and fixed plant.
• Proven track record leading maintenance or workshop teams.
• Maintenance planning and systems know-how.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own safety, reliability and performance of asphalt plants, mobile plant and fleet.
• Lead planners, fitters and plant supervisors to keep assets safe and compliant.
• Run maintenance programs to cut unplanned breakdowns.
• Lift plant output, quality and cost per tonne.
• Manage regional maintenance and capital budgets.
• Keep plant compliant and audit-ready.
• Coach a safety-first team.
