Job summary

Boral is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee our asphalt laying operations across Rockhampton and the surrounding region. You will lead the asphalt crew, drive performance and maintain safety, quality and operational excellence on every project.

As Foreman you will coordinate daily works, manage labour, plant and materials, and develop your crew through coaching and leadership while building strong relationships with customers and subcontractors in Central Queensland.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading asphalt crews in Foreman or similar role.
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Valid Australian Driver Licence
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor an asphalt crew to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget
• Coordinate daily operations, including labour, plant, materials and scheduling
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site and company requirements
• Monitor quality throughout paving activities to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Build positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Support crew development through coaching, training and leadership
