BHP is seeking a Specialist Asset Health Development professional to craft time-series analytics for asset health diagnosis and prognosis. The role emphasizes Python-first development using AVEVA PI data, Snowflake datasets, and scalable analytics patterns across mining equipment and sites.

You will collaborate with reliability engineers and operations teams to ensure analytics drive maintenance decisions, with an emphasis on interpretable results and operational readiness.

Formación

• Proven experience with Python for time-series processing and detection methods.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms.
• Ability to validate analytics with operational stakeholders and tune thresholds.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain time-series Asset Health analytics.
• Develop Python scripts to detect degradation, drift, and anomalies.
• Perform time-series prep and feature engineering (resampling, smoothing, rolling stats).
• Apply statistical/ML techniques with interpretable outputs for maintenance action.
• Document logic, thresholds, and limitations for repeatability.
• Scale analytics patterns across equipment types and sites.
• Support deployment of Asset Health analytics in enterprise apps and workflows.
• Collaborate with reliability engineers and site teams to identify opportunities.
