Job summary

Downer is seeking an Asset Data Officer with opportunities in Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville. You will manage, validate, and update asset register data, ensuring Defence compliance and accurate synchronization with systems like GEMS.

You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to integrate data for estate works, maintenance and project delivery. This role supports continuous improvement in asset data management and requires experience in asset data maintenance or database management,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in asset data maintenance, administration or database management.
• Certificate III/IV in Business or Data Management is desirable.
• Asset Management System Training Certification is desirable.
• Qualifications or experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Financial Data Management is advantageous.
• White Card and site access credentials are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing, validating, and updating asset register data in accordance with Defence requirements.
• Ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and synchronisation of asset data with Defence systems (e.g., GEMS).
• Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to verify and integrate asset data for estate works, maintenance, and project delivery.

• Supporting continuous improvement in asset data management processes and tools.

What You'll Do
