Job summary

Dyno Nobel Limited in Helidon, Queensland, is seeking an Assembly Operator to operate various equipment safely and efficiently to produce a range of explosive products shipped directly to mine sites across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

The role involves on-the-job training, full-time afternoon shift (3pm–11pm), Monday to Friday, in a safety-first environment. A current driver’s licence is required, with opportunities for career progression within Dyno Nobel.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Current driver's licence.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Positively contributing to Zero Harm safety culture.
• Assembling high quality explosive products using fixed plant.
• Identifying and contributing to plant improvements—reducing waste and improving quality, productivity and safety.
• Completing required paperwork accurately and timely, communicating quality issues to line leader.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe work area and general housekeeping.
