Job summary

M&P Services is seeking Assemblers, Shed Builders and Carpenters to join our Mackay production team. You will contribute to building transportable buildings in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality and safety standards.

Experience in transportable building manufacturing is valued, but candidates from related construction trades are encouraged to apply. Casual roles offer a pathway to permanent employment with immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently and productively.
• Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
• Australian citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install flooring, doors, windows, fixtures and fittings to required quality standards.
• Install and finish insulated wall and roof panels, including trims and flashings.
• Operate hand and power tools safely according to procedures.
• Prepare materials and completed buildings for dispatch and transport.
• Upskilling to enable a pathway to various work opportunities.

Build Quality Transportable Buildings with Us

As demand for our products continues to grow, we are looking for motivated Assemblers, Shed Builders and Carpenters to become part of our Production Team based in Mackay. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will contribute to the construction of transportable buildings while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Experience in transportable building manufacturing is highly regarded, however candidates with relevant construction or trade backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Immediate starts are available, with casual roles offering a pathway to permanent employment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assemble and install flooring, doors, windows, fixtures and fittings to required quality standards.
• Install and finish insulated wall and roof panel systems, including trims, flashings and associated components.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in accordance with workplace procedures.
• Handle, stage and prepare materials and completed buildings for dispatch and transport.
• Upskilling to enable a pathway to a variety of work
