Job summary

G.James is seeking a motivated Assembler for its Toowoomba Windows & Doors team. This full-time, hands-on role involves working on aluminium window and door fabrication within a stable, family-owned business.

You will perform metal cutting, fabrication, and glazing tasks, supported by PPE and a structured induction. The position offers Monday–Friday work with a monthly RDO, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with aluminium window/door fabrication is advantageous.
• Experience using power tools and following instructions.
• Reliable with transport and a current driver’s licence.

We are currently seeking a motivated Assembler to join our team in a full-time, ongoing position within our well‑established, stable, and respected family business.

The Role

This is a varied, hands‑on role involving multiple stages of the manufacturing process, including:

• Metal selection and cutting
• Aluminium fabrication
• Glazing of windows and doors

You will work as part of a supportive factory team, contributing to safe, accurate, and high‑quality production outcomes.

About You

Candidates who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

• Previous experience in aluminium window and door fabrication (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience using power tools
• Reliable, punctual, with dependable transport and a current driver’s licence
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop new skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work safely and accurately in a team environment
