G.James Cardiff branch is seeking a motivated Assembler to join our team in a full-time, ongoing position. The role covers manufacturing of aluminium windows and doors with hands-on duties.

You will work in a supportive factory team on metal selection, fabrication, and glazing for commercial and residential markets, with 38 hours/week and PPE supplied. We are a stable, family-owned Australian manufacturer with a long history and strong commitment to safety and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial aluminium window and door fabrication is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience using power tools.
• Reliable, punctual, with a current driver's licence.

We are currently seeking a motivated Assembler to join our team in a full-time, ongoing position within our well‑established, stable, and respected family business.

The Role

This is a varied, hands‑on role involving multiple stages of the manufacturing process, including:

• Metal selection and cutting
• Aluminium fabrication
• Glazing of commercial windows and doors

You will work as part of a supportive factory team, contributing to safe, accurate, and high‑quality production outcomes.

About You

Candidates who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

• Previous experience in commercial aluminium window and door fabrication (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience using power tools
• Reliable, punctual, with dependable transport and a current driver’s licence
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop new skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work safely and accurately in a team environment
