You will work closely with SEN professionals to develop strategies, monitor progress and help students participate meaningfully in learning and school life.

Qualifications

• An understanding of SEMH and the strategies that can support students’ learning, wellbeing and engagement
• An Aspiring SEMH Teacher who will promote inclusion, confidence and independence
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality and diversity
• Experience working with young people, ideally those with SEMH and SEND needs
• An Aspiring SEMH Teacher with a strong desire to develop professionally

Responsibilities

• Providing individual and small-group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them engage positively with learning and school life
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external professionals
• Gain valuable, first-hand experience working alongside SEN professionals to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
