Elite Bitumen & Asphalt Pty Ltd – Habana QLD is a family owned paving business serving Mackay and surrounding regions. We are seeking reliable Asphalt Labourers or Operators to join our existing crew; casual with view to permanent, day shifts with occasional night shift.

You may be trained with experience in construction. Roles include truck driving (licence required), operating heavy machinery such as roller, paver or bobcat, and flexible start/finish times.

Qualifications

• Physical labour and stamina required.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights and weekends if needed.
• License requirements: car licence; truck licence preferred.
• Must hold a Construction Induction OH&S white card.
• Must be legally allowed to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labour on site within the team.
• Drive to site with a valid licence (if licensed).
• Operate heavy machinery such as roller, paver, profiler or bobcat when required.
• Support asphalt laying and related tasks as directed by supervisor.

Elite Bitumen & Asphalt Pty Ltd is a reputable company providing asphalting laying and associated services including road works, driveways, footpaths and car parks in the Mackay and surrounding regions.

Elite Bitumen and Asphalt is a family owned and operated Asphalt Paving business and has established a reputation for quality professional service and has developed strong relationships with an extended client base.

We are currently seeking reliable Asphalt Labourers or Operators to work within our existing crew. We are also willing to train suitable applicants with any experience in the construction industry. This role is currently Casual with a view to a full time permanent role. Most of our work is day shift, however there may be some night shift work involved occasionally. Pay is competitive and above the award rates.

You will be required to do physical labour in this role including;

Truck driving (if licence allows)

Operating heavy machinery if you have the appropriate experience and VOC'S. Heavy machinery may include the following; roller - steel or multi, paver, profiler or bobcat.

To be successful in this role, the applicant will:

Possess a minimum of a car licence (C class) although Truck Licence is preferred

Hold a construction induction OH&S white card;

Have a willingness to work overtime, occasional nights shift and some weekend work if required;

A flexible attitude towards varied start and finish times

Your own vehicle to get to the main depot

Hold legal work status to work in Australia;
