Job summary

Allroad Surfaces in Queensland is seeking an Asphalt Labourer for casual work with the potential to become permanent. Based in Cooroy, you will contribute to quality asphalt projects and support installation and maintenance across local regions.

As a casual employee, you’ll work around 40+ hours per week when available, with flexible scheduling and a pathway to permanent employment. You will assist with ground prep, asphalt delivery, tool operation, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisory staff.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn the basics of asphalt work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ground preparation and compaction prior to asphalt laying.
• Support experienced operators with delivery and spreading of asphalt materials.
• Operate hand tools and compacting equipment as directed.
• Assist with traffic control and site safety protocols.
• Perform general site cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team to ensure smooth project execution.

Allroad Surfaces is seeking a reliable and hardworking Asphalt Labourer to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Cooroy, QLD, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic trades environment where you'll contribute directly to the completion of quality asphalt projects. As an Asphalt Labourer, you will play an essential part in our operations, supporting the installation and maintenance of asphalt surfaces across a variety of projects in the local and surrounding regions. Casual with a view to permanent 40 plus hours each week.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the preparation and compaction of ground surfaces prior to asphalt laying
• Supporting experienced operators with the delivery and spreading of asphalt materials

• Assisting with traffic control and site safety protocols

What we're looking for
