Job summary

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking an organised ASO3 Administration Officer to maintain day-to-day operations at Swallowcliffe supporting clinical and allied health teams.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally within a health or community services setting.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn health information systems quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with members of the public.
  • Understanding of SA Health and NALHN administrative frameworks and ability to manage priorities with attention to detail.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is expanding its Modern Primary Health Care services, and Swallowcliffe is at the centre of that growth. If you're an organised, people-focused administrator who wants your work to directly support better health outcomes for northern Adelaide communities, this part-time contract role offers exactly that opportunity — with a contract running through to 30 June 2028.

What You'll Be Doing

As an ASO3 Administration Officer embedded within the NALHN Modern Primary Health Care unit, you'll keep the day-to-day operations of the Swallowcliffe site running smoothly. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Providing responsive reception and administrative support to clinical and allied health teams
  • Managing patient records, appointment scheduling and data entry with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinating correspondence, filing and document management in line with SA Health policy
  • Supporting reporting and administrative processes that underpin service delivery within the unit

Our Local Health Network Sites and Services:

NALHN provides a range of hospital (inpatient), outpatient, community and home-based services across multiple sites in Adelaide’s north and north‑eastern suburbs, including Aboriginal health, mental health, and GP services.
